The story
Every screen-limit app has the same flaw: the escape hatch. When the limit hits, one tap grants "15 more minutes" — and by tomorrow, the app has forgotten it ever happened. Limits become suggestions, and users learn that their rules don't really count.
Time Debt keeps the escape hatch and fixes the amnesia. Borrowed minutes are honest debt: tonight they roll over, and tomorrow's allowance shrinks by exactly that amount — capped, floored and protected by guardrails so one bad evening can't spiral. The consequence is automatic, so nobody has to play the villain: not your willpower at 1 a.m., and not a parent at the dinner table.
It's built the unfashionable way: rules and history stay on the device, there is no account, the free plan is a complete product, and emergency access is always free. The paywall sells the full system — never an exit from your own rules.
