Accessibility
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Screen-time struggles aren't limited to people with perfect vision and steady hands. Time Debt is built to be usable by everyone, and we treat accessibility gaps as bugs.
In the app
- Dynamic Type: layouts adapt to larger text sizes, including plans, prices and subscription terms.
- VoiceOver: meaningful labels throughout — the allowance ring announces today’s available allowance and tomorrow's outlook; subscription cards read the full price, billing period, any introductory offer and the renewal price.
- Reduce Motion: the animated Today ↔ Tomorrow demonstrations render as static states when Reduce Motion is on.
- Touch targets: interactive elements aim for at least 44×44 points.
- Not color-alone: debt, borrowing and success states pair color with icons, text and numbers.
- Haptics: subtle feedback confirms key actions, and nothing depends on hearing audio.
On this website
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading order and descriptive link text
- System fonts, scalable text, and no text embedded in images
- Honors prefers-reduced-motion; no autoplaying media, no flashing content
- Alt text or explicit hidden marking for every graphic
Known limitations
- Apple's Family Activity Picker (the system sheet for choosing apps) is rendered by iOS and outside our control.
- Some ring animations are decorative summaries; the same data is always available as plain text nearby.
